Founder, President

Linda Payne founded Reimbursement Concepts, Inc in 2003 after serving in several senior management positions at some of the nation’s leading homecare companies. She is considered a top expert in infusion reimbursement, and has been working in Infusion and Specialty Pharmacy for over 20 years. She enjoys leading a great team and making a measurable difference for clients.
David Payne

David Payne

Vice President, CFO

Dave is responsible for all financial oversight and Corporate operations at Reimbursement Concepts and is an industry veteran with more than 20 years in health care administration. He joined Linda in the business in 2007, after a successful career as CFO at Medical Reimbursement Systems and in sales and management with National Medical Homecare (Apria). His favorite thing about working at RCI? Working with Linda, of course!

Paula Roth

Paula Roth

Director of Operations

Paula is responsible for all operations functions within the company. She has been an active member of NHIA and team lead for the Payer Advocacy and Relations Committee. She has been with Reimbursement Concepts since 2003, and has over 15 years of experience in the infusion/dme industry. Working directly with Linda Payne for so many years has provided her with unique knowledge and experience, and she has great pride in the continued growth and success of RCI.

Merrily Pearson

Merrily Pearson

Human Resources Manager

Merrily manages and centralizes all human resource functions of both the West Virginia and Arizona offices at Reimbursement Concepts. She works directly with the leadership and management teams, and provides guidance on effective hiring and onboarding. She is also involved in workplace training, education, and insightful supervisory practices. Merrily has been in the industry for more than 20 years, and has been with RCI since January 2017. She enjoys working with the people at RCI and appreciates the dedication to their clients.
Rachel Ewell

Rachel Ewell

Senior Reimbursement Manager

Rachel is the Senior Reimbursement Manager at RCI and joined the company in 2013 with more than 18 years of experience in the industry. She manages all activities related to billing and collecting for Home Infusion and DME services including oversight of Reimbursement Managers and Supervisors as well as revenue cycle consulting services. Rachel has served as the chair of the NHIA Payer Advocacy and Relations Committee for four years. At RCI, she most enjoys working with the team, who she learns from and enjoys working with every day.

Nichelle Brown

Nichelle Brown

Reimbursement Manager

Nichelle is in charge of staff management, meeting cash goals, management of intake processes and procedures, and staying up-to-date on all government and commercial payer changes and guidelines. In 2011, Nichelle was promoted to Intake Supervisor, and to Intake/Reimbursement Manager in 2014. At Reimbursement Concepts, she enjoys the variety of work and how there is always something new to learn. Nichelle holds a certificate of ICD-10-CM Proficiency, and obtained her Medical Coding Certificate from the Pittsburgh Technical Institute. She also has a B.S. in Business from West Liberty University in West Virginia.
Brian Carvelli

Brian Carvelli

Reimbursement Manager

Brian is responsible for managing multiple outsourcing clients and ensuring government and HIPAA compliance. Brian has a B.A. in Human Resource Management, and an associate’s degree in Business Management. He has been at Reimbursement Concepts since 2006 and has more than 13 years of experience in the industry. Brian also has an ICD-10 certification. Before coming to RCI, Brian worked as a Senior Reimbursement Specialist at Accredo Health Group. Brian enjoys assisting clients to improve A/R and observing tangible results.
Andrea Johnson

Andrea Johnson

Reimbursement Manger

Andrea mentors a team of Home Health/Hospice reimbursement specialists to ensure quality work and achieve client goals. She also manages the accounts receivables through cash collections, billing, A/R analysis, reporting, and payer resolutions. She also develops, improves, and implements policies and procedures for billing. Andrea has been in health care for 18 years, and at Reimbursement Concepts since 2009. Prior to RCI, Andrea worked for Sutter VNA & Hospice and managed a private health clinic. Andrea loves RCI because they are ethical and show great appreciation for their employees.
Agnes McGeehan

Agnes McGeehan

Reimbursement Manager

Agnes handles technical training functions, including training for new hires, the development of new and ongoing material, Database Administration for our clients, as well as the Auditing and Compliance Departments. Agnes has been with Reimbursement Concepts since 2006, and has 20 years of industry experience. Prior to joining RCI, she worked for three years at Accredo Health Group. Agnes enjoys the challenge of keeping up with the health care industry and the federal/state insurance regulations.
Ana Morgan

Ana Morgan

Reimbursement Manager

Ana oversees revenue cycle functions in Arizona working with clients to meet company goals. Ana has been with the company for more than a year and in the industry for 25 years. She has a B.A. in Child Education, and worked as a Nuclear Medicine Technician for three years before joining RCI. She has also held roles such as Director of Finance/Operations and Supervisor of Reimbursement. Ana enjoys working with a multitude and diversity of clients, and the challenges they present.
Lori Underwood

Lori Underwood

Reimbursement Manger

Lori manages a team of reimbursement specialists and ensures that compliance standards are enforced, productivity and accuracy are measured, AR is analyzed and more. She joined Reimbursement Concepts in 2007, and has ten years of experience in the industry. She attended Bethany College, and was a licensed financial consultant for National City Bank for nine years before coming to RCI. As a manager, Lori strives to motivate and influence staff members to succeed and reach their goals, while helping clients meet challenges head-on and positively impact their bottom line.
